Urging the youth to recognise “faux nationalists”, Congress chief Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday assured her social gathering’s full help to these peacefully protesting the Centre’s Agnipath scheme for recruitment within the armed forces.
She made the remarks as Congress MPs and leaders sat on a ‘Satyagraha’ at Jantar Mantar right here in solidarity with the youths protesting the controversial scheme.
“There isn’t a greater patriot than you. I need to let you know, open your eyes and recognise the faux nationalists and pretend patriots. The complete nation and the Congress are with you in your wrestle,” the Congress common secretary stated in her remarks aimed toward youths protesting the Agnipath scheme.
In her tackle, she additionally quoted strains from Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s Hindi poem ‘Agnipath’ to induce the youth to persevere and maintain struggling peacefully.
